The Knowledge Capital Project intends to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to access new work
opportunities in today's competitive workplace. We will provide them the opportunity to update their skills through programs
specially tailored to meet our corporate sponsors' needs. By taking the financial burden off adults seeking to make a career
change, we will provide them with career options not available to them previously.
The Knowledge Capital Project will
provide qualified individuals with everything from training to career development, career counseling and job placement.
Our
goal is to provide individuals a whole suite of training programs to choose from, from healthcare receivables management training
to film production training, and everything in between.
The Knowledge Capital Project is committed to operating under
the highest of standards and will ensure its beneficiaries access the highest quality training and educational programs. We
will develop programs and monitor these for effectiveness. Over time, we will create a proprietary database of this knowledge
for investors.
OBJECTIVES
The Knowledge Capital Project aims to make job training "AAA": available, affordable
and accountable.
We seek to partner with individuals and non-profits that help people by giving them marketable skills
with which they can get a job.
We seek to partner with socially responsible investment funds that can invest in training
at pennies on the dollar. If the loans are repaid in full, the fund will make a return on the investment, and re-invest the
proceeds in funding training for more people. Over time, the fund should become self-supporting by discovering where best
to direct funds.
We have already established chapters in the US and India. Our goal is to establish chapters in as
many countries as possible so that this movement gains momentum and scale quickly.
We will collect data about employment
generated through the training programs and use this information to generate more funds. Effective training programs will
attract more capital and ineffective training programs will be dropped.
